We're a husband-and-wife team originally from Ethiopia, now living in Virginia with our little family. We recently welcomed our sweet baby boy, and by a wonderful coincidence, he was born in October—Opal's birthstone month. We like to think that was meant to be.

As proud Ethiopians, these gemstones are especially close to our hearts. Ethiopia is home to the beautiful Welo opals, and it's a privilege to share these incredible creations of nature with fellow opal lovers around the world.
